Bellwethr was founded in 2017 by Matt Moody and Daron Jamison, and is headquartered in Wamego, Kansas.

In 2018 the team completed the Techstars Kansas City accelerator, and has since been recognized as a top startup in the area.

Bellwethr closed its Seed Round of $2.5M in June 2019.
